Water-cooled Cable for Polycrystalline Furnace

1 Scope of application

This standard specifies the terminology and definition, product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation and storage of water-cooled cables for polycrystalline furnaces (hereinafter referred to as this product).

This standard is applicable to polycrystalline furnace water-cooled cables with nominal cross-sectional area of 200 mm2 to 350 mm2 and carrying current of water-cooled cables I < 3500A. This standard is also applicable to water-cooled cables in other fields.

Terms and definitions

Polycrystalline Furnace Water-cooled Cable: Polycrystalline Furnace Water-cooled Cable is mainly composed of electrodes, soft wires, insulated rubber pipe with outer sheath, clamp, intake nozzle and outlet nozzle.

Electrode: commonly known as cable head. Its material is brass, copper or oxygen-free copper. It is processed according to user's requirements, and its surface is passivated or tinned.

Soft conductor: made of copper strands with diameter of 0.25 mm.

External sheath insulated rubber pipe: synthetic rubber pipe with reinforced sandwich layer, which can withstand cooling water pressure and mechanical stress when working. There are two kinds of inner diameter, i.e. 32mm and 38mm.

Clamp: Used for fixing insulated rubber pipe and electrode of outer sheath. Its material is: Clamp made of T2 pure copper.

Nozzle: Inlet and outlet nozzles are made of H59 hexagonal brass rod or 304 stainless steel rod. They are sealed with M16 *1.5 thread and O-ring for the electrode. The connection part with the inlet and outlet hoses is horse-tooth buckle structure.

Minimum bending radius: The limit radius of curvature allowed for water-cooled cables under external bending force.

4 Product Classification

Model 4.1

The product type shall conform to the following requirements.

Model example: The cross-sectional area of water-cooled cables and soft conductors for polycrystalline furnace is 200 mm2. The model is UJ-SLD200.

4.2 Basic parameters

5 Technical Requirements

5.1 General requirements

The working environment, cooling water quality, water pressure, inlet and outlet water temperature of water-cooled cables for polycrystalline furnace shall conform to the corresponding provisions of GB/T10067.1.

5.2 Design and Manufacturing Requirements

5.2.1 External sheath insulated rubber pipe is made of rubber hose, and its performance, size and quality shall conform to the requirements of HG/T 2184.

5.2.2 Soft conductor is twisted with a copper strand of 0.25. Its cross section is made according to the current it carries.

5.2.3 Electrode materials are brass, copper or oxygen-free copper. The surface of the electrode should be smooth and smooth, without cracks, pores, burrs and sharp angles. The surface roughness of the conductive plane should be less than 3.2um and the contact area should be no less than 60%. Surface passivation or tin plating. The shape, position and size of UJ-SLD series electrode structure and the position of inlet and outlet are agreed by both suppliers and consumers.

Non-magnetic material for 5.2.4 clamps: copper clamps (surface passivation treatment) are extruded and fastened on special equipment.

The length of 5.2.5 water-cooled cable is agreed by both suppliers and consumers.

5.2.6 Soft wires and electrodes are cold extruded and fastened on special equipment.

5.3 Performance

5.3.1 Applying 50 Hz and 2000 V voltage to the insulating rubber tube of the outer sheath of water-cooled cable for 1 minute, no breakdown should occur.

5.3.2 Applying working water pressure P = 0.6 Mpa to the insulating rubber pipe of the outer sheath of water-cooled cable, and keeping for 15 minutes, there should be no bubbling and deformation.

5.3.3 There is no leakage of cooling water at the interface between insulating rubber pipe of outer sheath and electrode.

5.3.4 In order to ensure adequate mechanical strength and reliable electrical contact, the test tension of the nominal section area of 200 mm2 is 15 kN. On this basis, the test tension value of water-cooled cable increases by 5 kN for every 100 mm2 increase of the nominal section area of water-cooled cable.

5.3.5 When the relative humidity is 90% and the room temperature is 20 +5 C, the insulation resistance of the electrode and the soft wire to the outer surface of the insulating rubber tube of the outer sheath shall not be less than 1M_.

5.4 Appearance Requirements

5.4.1 The surface of the electrode should be clean, free of dirt, no falling off of the coating and no scratches.

5.4.2 Water-cooled cable sheath insulation rubber pipe surface should be clean, no dirt, no scars, no cracks.

5.4.3 The surface of copper clamp tightly sealed with water-cooled cable electrode and outer sheath insulating rubber pipe is bright.

5.4.4 The installation position of the inlet and outlet nozzles at both ends of the water-cooled cable is symmetrical.

6 test methods

6.1 Test of Insulation Resistance of Insulated Rubber Tube for External Sheath of Water-cooled Cable

The test was carried out with a 2500V hand-operated megaohm meter. The insulation resistance of water-cooled cable sheath insulation hose should not be less than 1M_at AC 2500V.

6.2 Insulation Voltage Resistance Test

Measurements shall be made in accordance with Article 5.3.1 of this Standard.

Measurement of 6.3 DC Resistance

Measure according to GB/T3048.4.

6.4 Water Pressure Measurement of Insulated Rubber Pipe with Outer Sheath

Put the water-cooled cable on the special test bench, plug the water hole of one end of the electrode, then connect the water pipe at the other end, pressurize 0.6 Mpa, and keep for 15 minutes. The insulating rubber pipe of the outer sheath should be free of leakage, bubbling and local diameter enlargement and other abnormal phenomena.

6.5 Tensile Test

After the electrodes and soft wires are pressed together, they are installed on the tension machine. When the starting tension machine reaches the test tension stipulated in Article 5.3.4 of this standard, there should be no loosening or falling off at the connection.

7 Inspection Rules

7.1 Appearance Inspection

7.1.1 Electrode test meets the requirements of 5.4.1 of this standard.

7.1.2 Water-cooled cable sheath insulation hose inspection meets the requirements of 5.4.2 of this standard.

7.1.3 The copper clamp test of the tightly sealed electrode and outer sheath insulating rubber pipe of water-cooled cable meets the requirements of 5.4.3 of this standard.

7.1.4 Inspection of installation position of inlet and outlet nozzles at both ends of water-cooled cables meets the requirements of 5.4.4 of this standard.

7.2 Exit Inspection

7.2.1 Exit-factory inspection items are the items stipulated in Article 5.3.1, 5.3.2, 5.3.3, 5.3.4 and 5.3.5 of this standard.

7.2.2 If there is any unqualified item in the inspection, it can be re-examined after repairing until it is completely qualified.

Type 7.3 Test

7.3.1 Samples from qualified products shall be sampled for type inspection according to regulations, and all items specified in this Standard shall be inspected.

7.3.2 In addition to appearance, if there is one unqualified item, it should be double checked. If there is still one unqualified item, it will be judged unqualified. Allow repair until qualified.

7.3.3 Type testing shall be performed in any of the following cases.

(a) When a new product is put into production or the product is finalized;

B) When raw materials and processes have been greatly improved, which may affect the performance of products;

C) Once every two years for continuous production;

D) Stop production for more than one year and resume production again;

E) When requested by the State Administration of Quality.

7.4 Under the condition that the user complies with this standard and the instructions, the manufacturer shall repair or replace the product for the user free of charge within 12 months from the date of delivery, if the quality of the product can not be used properly.

8 Marking, Packaging, Transportation and Storage

8.1 Mark

The marking of water-cooled cables shall comply with the relevant provisions of GB6995.1.

8.2 Packaging

Before packaging of water-cooled cables: empty the internal water and dry it with compressed air; clean the insulating rubber pipe of outer sheath with nylon brush and clean water; clean the surface of the electrode with acetone solvent. According to the size of the cable, the cable is packed with colored strips or wooden boxes. When packing water-cooled cables, the bending radius should not be less than the corresponding minimum bending radius. The packing must meet the requirements of rainproof, and the packing list and inspection certificate should be placed.

8.3 Transport

The transportation of products should conform to the relevant traffic regulations of our country, and measures should be taken to prevent rain and snow in the course of transportation.

8.4 Storage

Water-cooled cables should be stored in places free of oil pollution and corrosive gases. The ambient temperature should be - 10 ~55 C.
